"Amelia's World" by Robin Schwartz

Robin Schwartz, an assistant professor of art, has been invited to be a featured speaker at the annual National Geographic Magazine Photography Seminar on January 12, 2012 at the magazine’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.  The invitation-only event brings together the magazine’s visual staff and field assignment photographers, as well as photo colleagues—editors, curators, and critics from the larger publishing and exhibition community—for an all-day celebration of photography. Schwartz will be presenting works from her Amelia’s World series, which explores inter-species relationships. Other presenters include David LaChapelle, Paolo Pellegrin, Gillian Laub, Cirenaica Moreira, Kitra Cahana, and Anthony Bannon.  Robin Schwartz’s photographs can be viewed at www.RobinSchwartz.net.
