Monetary awards (amount varies) Mentoring by COSH & COE faculty Networking opportunities and field trips Travel awards Annual recognition of all participants Noyce Scholarship $20,000 scholarship / year for upto three years Scholarships are awarded at $20,000 per year, not to exceed the cost of attendance at WPU. A full-time STEM undergraduate student may receive an annual scholarship through the completion of a baccalaureate degree program, not to exceed a maximum of three years (for students requiring a fifth year for teacher certification/licensing). A part-time student may receive scholarships that are prorated according to the student's enrollment status, not to exceed six years of scholarship support. Noyce Summer Internship $450 / week for upto two weeks A STEM undergraduate student interested in exploring teaching as a career may receive $450 per week for upto two weeks for summer internship. Selected intern will be placed in a STEM based program for middle / high school students at WPU or something similar in nature. Noyce Supplemental Instructorship $90/ week for upto 14 weeks during Fall / Spring semesters A STEM undergraduate student interested in exploring teaching as a career may receive $90 per week ($9 per hour for 10 hours a week) for upto 14 weeks during Fall or Spring semesters for serving as a supplemental instruction leader.
