Cirque Du Soleil’s Extreme Juggler Greg Kennedy to Perform at William Paterson University on February 28

Greg Kennedy, an extreme juggler direct from Cirque du Soleil, will present his family performance “Theorem!” at William Paterson University in Wayne on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the Shea Center of Performing Arts on campus.

Tickets are available in advance or on the day of the show at $12 for adults and $10 for children. Pre-show activities begin at 1:15 p.m.

Following world tours with Cirque du Soleil, Greg Kennedy and the very talented “Theorem!” cast playfully explore the process of invention, making visual spectacles out of everyday objects. The show features Kennedy’s largest structure pieces, aerial acrobatics, five-person choreography, extreme juggling, and an interactive lobby installation.

Originally trained as an engineer, Kennedy uses the principles of geometry and physics to create groundbreaking work with original apparatus. As a young juggler, he quickly made a name for himself in the juggling community not only by his mastery of traditional juggling technique, but also for creating entirely new forms of manipulation. He is now renowned for his many original contributions to juggling as an art form. He is a two-time gold medalist at the International Jugglers’ Association Championships and is known for his creativity and entertaining performance.
