William Paterson University Makes List of Top University Sales Programs in the Nation
-Sales Education Foundation recognizes preparation and placement achievement
William Paterson University was recognized in the 2014 list of Top University Sales Programs for its Russ Berrie Institute for Professional Sales in the Cotsakos College of Business. The list, released by the Sales Education Foundation of Dayton, Ohio, highlights William Paterson University as one of the best locations for hiring sales professionals.

William Paterson, through its Russ Berrie Institute for Professional Sales, was one of the first universities in the country to offer a dedicated bachelor’s degree in professional sales. It consistently receives significant attention from companies for outstanding preparation and successful hiring. Through the program’s academic preparation and its Sales Triathlon, National Sales Challenge and Sales Career Fair opportunities, RBI has established itself as a leader among sales programs.
The Russ Berrie Institute for Professional Sales was established in 2003 when the late Russ Berrie, the founder and chief executive officer of Russ Berrie and Company, Inc. donated funds to establish the program at William Paterson University. Housed in the University’s Cotsakos College of Business, the Institute represents a unique partnership between the private sector and higher education designed to advance the field of professional sales.
