William Paterson University Presents The Golden Dragon Acrobats On March 8

The Golden Dragon Acrobats , the only Chinese acrobatic company touring the U.S. year-round, will present their show “Cirque Ziva” on Friday, March 8 at William Paterson University in Wayne. The performance will take place at 8 p.m. in the University’s Shea Center for Performing Arts as part of its “WP Presents!” series and in conjunction with the William Paterson Cross-Cultural Arts Festival.

Tickets are $30 adults, $25 children and $10 for William Paterson students. Discounts apply for William Paterson faculty, staff and alumni. Group rates available.

The Golden Dragon Acrobats combine acrobatics, traditional dance, spectacular costumers, ancient and contemporary music and theatrical techniques to present an unforgettable night. The company made their Broadway debut in 2005 to a sold out audience and their six-week run led to two New York Drama Desk nominations. The acrobats hail from Hebei, China and travel the globe to perform their acts such as “Cirque Ziva.” The fast-paced, technically innovative performance is for the entire family.
