Theatre IV to Present “Twas the Night Before Christmas” at William Paterson University on December 16 The classic holiday tale “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” will be staged at William Paterson University in Wayne on Sunday, December 16, 2012. The performance will be held at 2 p.m. in the University’s Shea Center for Performing Arts as part of the “WP Presents! Family Performance” series. Tickets are available in advance or on the day of the performance at $10. Group rates are also available. The performance in appropriate for grades kindergarten through 5. There will be pre-show creative activities beginning 45 minutes before show time. “Twas the Night before Christmas,” inspired by the poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas,” includes music and lyrics by Bruce Craig Miller. The musical by Theatre IV, a touring children’s theatre company, introduces Santa in a particularly beneficent light with a hilarious performance for children and parents. A post-show autograph session will follow the performance.
