Undergraduate Research Symposium

12th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium

in the Biological & Chemical Sciences at William Paterson University

Saturday, April 2018

Over the last eleven years, College of Science & Health at William Paterson University has provided a forum for undergraduates to present their original research to their peers and professors. This event provides students with essential research experience for a career in the sciences or science-related fields. The conference focuses on sharing and advancing new knowledge in the sciences that were created or discovered through collaborative faculty-student research.

The format of this year's meeting will include morning and afternoon poster sessions. All aspects of biology and chemistry research is considered for presentation. Special emphasis is placed on the research covering: Physiology, Cell & Molecular Biology, Genetics, Environmental Science, Ecology & Evolution in biology and  Biochemistry,   Nanochemistry, General & Material Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic & Bioanalytical Chemistry, Computational & Physical Chemistry in the area of chemistry . Posters will be judged and awarded 1st and 2nd place in all the categories. All abstracts will be published in Symposium Proceedings.

We look forward to welcome you at WPU hear about your research accomplishments. For further details, please contact Dr. Jaishri Menon, menonj@wpunj.edu or call her at 973-720-2795 for biology related information and Dr. Bhanu P. S. Chauhan, (chauhanbps@wpunj.edu) for chemistry related information.
