Dear WP Parents and Families, Are you ready for an exciting fall 2014 semester? The new academic year kicks off with a Parents Association meeting on Wednesday, September 3, 6:30 p.m. in the Paterson Room, David and Lorraine Cheng Library. The meeting will begin with a hands-on demonstration of the book scanner which was funded by a donation from the Parents Association. The demonstration will be led by Kurt Wagner, Assistant Director, Library Information Systems. Parking is available in Lots 4 and 5. Refreshments will be served. Homecoming is one of the largest traditional events on campus and we’re inviting parents and families to join us for a day of fun, food, and friends! Homecoming Weekend 2014 will be held Saturday, September 20 through Monday, September 22 with tailgating, games and sporting events on Saturday and WP's 6th Annual Golf Outing on Monday! Click here to view the full schedule of events for the weekend. Remember to stop by the Parents Association table for a special gift! The parent webinar series continues on Wednesday, October 1, at 12 p.m. with Higher Education Affordability: Seeking All Sources. This hour long exclusive webinar will be led by Kenneth M. Schneider, Director, Student Enrollment Services, who will help you find additional financial resources to fund your children’s education.
