Love & Respect on Campus: Verizon Wireless Violence Prevention Campaign

William Paterson is partnering with Verizon Wireless for this Dating/Domestic Violence Awareness Program. Alumni, students, faculty, and staff can donate used cell phones to the Verizon Wireless Hopeline Program to benefit victims and survivors of domestic violence, and qualify WP for a $10,000 grant to fight domestic violence in the community! Bring your old phones to the Homecoming Game on October 10th, and drop them in the Hopeline dropbox!

An exciting lecture and stargazing event. Prof. Jason Kendall will talk about "Searching for Life Out There in the Universe." The event will include a performance by the WP choir of "Up, Up in the Sky," the official Song of the Year of Astronomy, and "Constellation Song." After the public talk there will be stargazing with the WP Astronomy Club out on the Wightman Football Field.
