"Pluto: Battle for a Planet"
7:30 p.m. • Science East 2064
An exciting lecture and stargazing event. Ever wonder why Pluto isn't considered a full planet anymore?  Prof. Jason Kendall will talk about this distant world, and the spacecraft due to arrive next year. After the public talk, there will be a free raffle of an actual telescope, as well as other astronomy stuff. Finally, if it's clear, we'll take out the Physics Department's telescopes for stargazing with the WP Astronomy Club out on the Wightman Football Field.
