An exciting lecture and stargazing event. Prof. Jason Kendall will talk about "Searching for Life Out There in the Universe." The event will include a performance by the WP choir of "Up, Up in the Sky," the official Song of the Year of Astronomy, and "Constellation Song." After the public talk there will be stargazing with the WP Astronomy Club out on the Wightman Football Field.

Dare to Pair: A "Mash Up" Event

A mash-up event is when two speakers come together to give a talk or demonstration on seemingly unrelated topics. Audience members are invited to participate in the demonstrations, and to join in a discussion comparing and contrasting the topics at the conclusion of the presentations.
