William Paterson University honored with Faith in Paterson
Award
President Kathleen Waldron accepted the award on behalf of the University at the Greater Paterson Chamber of Commerce's 104th Annual Gala on Saturday, January 26, 2013.

Students, Staff participate in Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
Activities in Jersey City and Newark
William Paterson students and staff volunteered at public schools in Jersey City and Newark as part of the nationwide Martin Luther King Day of Service on January 21.

Jeremiah Fraites '09: Rocking with The Lumineers
Jeremiah Fraites graduated from William Paterson in 2009. His band, The Lumineers, was nominated for two Grammy awards and recently performed on Saturday Night Live.

Women's Basketball to Open NCAA Tournament March 1 vs.
Gettysburg
Making their sixth appearance in the past seven years, William Paterson Women Pioneers (20-7, 12-4 NJAC) will play Gettysburg (21-6, 16-4 Centennial) in the first round of the 2013 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament, Friday, March 1, at 5:30 p.m. at Messiah College in Grantham, PA.
