The WP Music Department presents I Want My '80s: The Best of MTV's Ladies Special performance by Taylor Dayne with guest appearances by Darryl "DMC" McDaniels of Run DMC and Chris Butler of The Waitresses Hosted by original MTV VJ Mark Goodman and Sirius XM's Lori Majewski
This music scholarship fundraising concert will rock the Shea Center with a headline performance by platinum artist Taylor Dayne, who scored seven Top 10 hits from 1988-1990, including “Tell It To My Heart,” “I’ll Always Love You,” and the #1 hit, “Love Will Lead You Back." Led by Grammy Award-winning music director and WP alumnus Rob Fusari, the William Paterson student tribute band, Sweet Dreams, will perform the work of the best female artists of the early-MTV era with special guests Darryl "DMC" McDaniels of Run DMC and Chris Butler of The Waitresses joining them on stage to recreate their group's biggest hits. Join us in support of WP music scholarships and in celebration of the best '80s music. Special video appearance by Martin Fry of the pop band ABC.
All proceeds benefit WP music scholarships.

This is a fully staged production of Purcell's masterpiece about love and war, with baroque period string quartet and harpsichord.

The WP Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Women’s Chorus, and Men’s Chorus will perform the music of Brahms and Schubert, in addition to contemporary choral literature. WP alumna and horn player Erika Arango will perform as guest artist on this concert.
