United for Prevention in Passaic County (UPinPC)
UPinPC works to reduce substance abuse throughout Passaic County by working with prevention partners, local alliances, and concerned residents in all sixteen municipalities in the county.
Priority Area 1: Reduce Underage Drinking
UPinPC works to reduce underage drinking and related harmful consequences by partnering with parents and youth to provide evidence-based programming.
Priority Area 2: Reduce Prescription Drug Misuse
UPinPC works to reduce prescription drug misuse by supporting national prescription drug abuse programs.
Priority Area 3: Enhance Communication and Coordination
By collaborating with county-based partners, UPinPC provides centralized communication about priority drug issues, enhanced access to data, and support for the implementation of evidence-based prevention strategies.
United for Prevention in Passaic County seeks to create environmental change relating to substance abuse by promoting awareness, communication, and support for all county residents.
Every day someone in Passaic County is affected by substance abuse.
Drug and alcohol abuse is harmful to children and adults alike. United for Prevention in Passaic County is a county-wide coalition that seeks to engage all members of the community who are concerned about these issues. Together we will work toward reducing the access and availability of drugs and alcohol to promote real and effective change in our county. COVID-19 Emergency Response Resource Directory, created by NJSP Drug Monitoring Initiative.
In response to the COVID-19 PANDEMIC, NJ's Drug Monitoring Initiative (DMI) has created a "New Jersey Resource Guide" to provide DMI partners and the public with a list of programs, links, and information to relevant resources for a variety of important topics.
