The mission of the William Paterson University Green Team is to engage students, faculty, and staff in the assessment and refinement of University operations and programs to reflect best practices in sustainability, energy conservation, green design, waste reduction, and the use of renewable technologies. As part of the University’s strategic commitment to the environment in the pursuit of carbon reduction goals, the Committee promotes environmental and social benefits through formal recommendations, campus activities, and dialogue with academic programs. The Committee advises the President and senior administration in guiding the University’s towards its commitment to become a fully green institution
