Alumna Receives Fulbright Specialist Award
Patricia L. Supplee ’72 was selected for a Fulbright Specialists project at the National Defense University in Phnom Penh, Cambodia during January and February 2014. Supplee assessed and developed English as a second language curricula and materials for Cambodian military personnel who are part of United Nations Peacekeeping Forces. Supplee holds a doctorate from Teachers College, Columbia University.
The Fulbright Specialists Program, created in 2000 to complement the traditional Fulbright Scholar Program, provides short-term academic opportunities (two to six weeks) to prominent U.S. faculty and professionals to support curricular and faculty development and institutional planning at post-secondary, academic institutions around the world.
