New Transfer Students

Welcome to William Paterson University!

Transferring to William Paterson University can offer new and exciting opportunities. So glad you joined our WP community to continue your studies! We would like to encourage you to connect from day one with your respective academic department/college to answer any questions you may have and for assistance with your next steps with regard to advisement. If you are an undeclared transfer student, a New Student Programs (NSP) staff member will serve as your academic advisor and help you in your acclimation to the University and assit you in major exploration toward your successful academic pursuit.

As a new transfer student to the university, you will be invited to participate and attend an array of transitional programs and events through-out your first semester at WP. Further, we would like to encourage and challenge you to take advantage of the many academic, social, extracurricular and co-currcular activities at WP to enhance your full educational experience at the University.
