  • Learn to take advantage of new opportunities.

  • Describe the purpose(s) of learning in groups
  • Identify the four stages of group activities and describe how they affect class performance
  • Describe student and faculty roles and responsibilities in groups

Day 13 Managing the Online Classroom Effectively
  • Utilize the guidelines for effective management of an online environment
  • List the tips for improving readability of messages
  • Explain the roles of tone in the online learning environment
  • Describe the consequences of inappropriate tone
  • Apply appropriate tone in online classroom exchanges to avoid miscommunication
  • Summarize the methods of setting effective tone when grading papers
  • Identify the rules of netiquette (network etiquette) that can be applied to the online learning environment
