Faculty Range Adjustment Calendar

Spring 2022

NO LATER THAN
September 17, 2021 President provides the Union with faculty line analysis and recommended range
adjustment opportunities.
September 24, 2021 Union meets with President to discuss Union’s range adjustment opportunity
recommendations and rationale. President provides final number of range
adjustment opportunities to Union Leadership.
October 1, 2021 President or his designee announces number of available range adjustments.
February 3, 2021 Candidate submits materials to Department Faculty Range Adjustment Committee
(DFRAC) through Chair of Department.
February 10, 2022 Department Chairs certify in writing, to Provost and Senior Vice President for
Academic Affairs, names of candidates who submitted completed folders by
February 3, 2020.
March 2, 2022 DFRAC submits recommendations to University Faculty Range Adjustment
Committee (UFRAC) through Office of the Provost and Senior Vice President.
March 25, 2022 UFRAC provides the Provost and Senior Vice President with a list individuals
recommended equal to the number of available range adjustments at each rank.
March 30, 2022 Provost and Senior Vice President meets and consults with UFRAC about its
recommendations.
April 4, 2022 Provost and Senior Vice President submits UFRAC’s and Provost’s list(s) of
recommended candidates to the President.
April 11, 2022 President meets and consults with UFRAC about recommendations.
April 18, 2022 President submits recommendations to Board of Trustees.
June 16, 2022 President notifies candidates of Board of Trustees decision.
