Lavender Graduation is a special ceremony for LGBTQAI+ and Ally undergraduate and graduate students to acknowledge their achievements, contributions, and unique experiences at William Paterson University. William Paterson University of New Jersey acknowledges the collective contributions of all students, faculty and staff towards a safer and affirming campus for members of our LGBTQIA+ community. In response to COVID-19, the Lavender Graduation Ceremony has been pre-recorded. In our efforts to extend our values in creating a safe and supportive environment for LGBTQIA+ students, William Paterson University acknowledges the privacy of Lavender graduates that have self-identified.
