William Paterson University and UCEDA Institute have partnered in a commitment to expand access to international student education by offering non-credit English as a Second Language (ESL) programs on campus. With over 30 years of experience in ESL, UCEDA Institute delivers programs that are designed to prepare students to achieve their goals through mastery of English language skills. William Paterson welcomes UCEDA as it aims to provide a platform for personal development, enable civic engagement, promote diversity, and improve the world both locally and globally.

Who can attend?

  • Current WPU students may still be improving their English as a second language in order to succeed in the academic program of study
  • Prospective WPU students may be learning English or preparing for TOEFL prior to admission to WPU
  • International students visiting the United States may enroll in an Intensive English Program
  • ESL courses are also open to anyone in the local community who is not a native English speaker

When do ESL classes meet?                                                                                                                       

Choose from the following schedules:

Monday/Wednesday 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm 

Wednesday/Thursday 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Saturday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Classes begin October 22, 2018
