Racine Emmons Hindelong

Professor • Department of Kinesiology

Dr. Racine Emmons is a Professor and Program Director of the Exercise Science Program at William Paterson University. She is also a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine. She has over 20 years of clinical and research experience, where her area of research has focused on conventional and emerging risk factors for cardiovascular and metabolic disease and sports nutrition. Dr. Emmons serves on the Membership Committees for the American College of Sports Medicine Clinical Exercise Physiology Association (chair). She serves as the Secretary for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and camping, coaching youth cross country, and cheering on her two sons in sports.
