According the Bureau of Labor Statistics the field of Human Resource Management is one of the fastest growing business industries and is expected to realize a rapid job growth of 9% from 2014 to 2024. As industry continues to evolve so does the need for adaptive Human Resource Managers.Today’s human resource professionals must understand topics related to organizational leadership, staffing, conflict resolution, federal and state regulations and must possess the necessary skills to drive organizational culture. Our Human Resource concentration area is focused on best practices as identified by SHRM the Society of Human Resource Managers and plays into our thematic curriculum highlighting innovation, strategy and career preparedness. Students will learn concepts in human resources through a combination of theoretical case studies as well as practical application that connects our professionals directly to industry.
