Printmaking Workshop
March 8, 2010
Location: Printmaking Studio, Power Arts Center

Instructor: Zhiyuan Cong
This demonstration provides an experience for the combination of Chinese artistic creation and printmaking techniques, modern and traditional printmaking mediums, and the combination of eastern and western art forms. Visiting artists from China will demonstrate Chinese painting images on printmaking plates and WPUNJ students will make the images into etching prints.

Chinese Opera: Changing Faces

Zhao Naiyi is a famous opera actor from Beijing, China. Changing Faces is an art form used in the Sichuan Opera.

For celebrating the success of the Summer Art in China 2008, William Paterson University Study Abroad Program, the program faculty and students host a photo exhibition and book signing at the Ben Shahn Art Gallery of William Paterson University.

Speeches were given by President Arnold Speert, Provost Edward Weil and Dean Raymond Torres-Santos. Program faculty and students shared their program experience with the audience.
