Have you heard that William Paterson University has installed the largest solar panel facility on any university campus in the United States? The project is estimated to save the University $4.3 million in energy costs over the next 15 years.

We formally dedicated the facility last week in a program that included Senator Robert Menendez, Congressman Bill Pascrell Jr., and John Lushetsky, program manager of the Solar Energy Technologies Program for the U.S. Department of Energy.

According to Lushetsky, William Paterson’s facility is one of the 20 largest arrays in the U.S. and one of the top three in the northeast.
