Storm Update

To:         William Paterson University Community
From:    Stephen Bolyai, Vice President for Administration and Finance
Date:     November 1, 2012

PSE & G is still working to restore power on the campus. As their work continues we remain concerned about travel on local roads throughout the region. Therefore, classes, other activities and university offices will be suspended through Monday morning. Selective essential employees will be expected to report for duty and will be contacted by their supervisors. Our expectation is that classes, activities and offices will be back on normal schedule at that time. Once power is restored, residence halls and dining services at Speert Hall will be fully functioning.

Emergency announcements, including updates on the status of classes and other activities, will continue to be communicated via Connect-Ed, campus alerts, and posted on the University homepage and on the Campus Emergency Mailbox at 973-720-2475. Messages will also be posted to the University’s Facebook and Twitter pages. Students, please encourage your parents to check the University home page and/or the Campus Emergency Mailbox for updated information.

We will continue to provide updates when new information is available.

Thank you for your cooperation and flexibility.
