Dear WP Parent,

Please join us for our first Parents Association meeting of the academic year on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.  The meeting will be held in College Hall, Room 311. Our agenda will include a discussion about parent participation in the September 22 Homecoming event, opportunities to volunteer at University Open Houses, and a preview of upcoming cultural programs on campus.

The first part of our agenda will include a 30-minute tour of the University's Living Jazz Archives led by Dr. David Demsey, Coordinator of Jazz Studies and Professor of Music. This fascinating exhibit contains original scores and compositions by world renowned musicians such as Thad Jones, Clark Terry, and James Williams.
