Happy New Year from the College of Arts and Communication!

As 2018 begins, I am happy to share with you greetings from Dean Daryl Moore of the College of Arts and Communication and several exciting developments in the COAC.


William Paterson Communication students traveled to Puerto Rico to help restore hurricane-ravaged radio station. A goal of the trip was to establish a sister station relationship between WQVR and WPSC, with a weekly hour of programming being supplied by WQVR. Read more here.

2GRAM450 Bill Charlap, internationally acclaimed pianist and director of William Paterson University’s Jazz Studies program, has been nominated for another Grammy Award. “Uptown, Downtown” - the latest album by the Bill Charlap Trio - is up for the 2017 award in the "Best Jazz Instrumental Album" category. 1KB450 WP alumnus James Kierstead '11 is a producer for the Broadway musical Kinky Boots. The 2013 Tony award winner is currently in its fifth smash year!
