William Paterson Communication students traveled to Puerto Rico to help restore hurricane-ravaged radio station. A goal of the trip was to establish a sister station relationship between WQVR and WPSC, with a weekly hour of programming being supplied by WQVR. Read more here.

Bill Charlap, internationally acclaimed pianist and director of William Paterson University’s Jazz Studies program, has been nominated for another Grammy Award. “Uptown, Downtown” - the latest album by the Bill Charlap Trio - is up for the 2017 award in the "Best Jazz Instrumental Album" category.
