I Want My '80s: The Best of MTV’s Ladies stars Taylor Dayne, Chris Butler of The Waitresses, original MTV VJ Mark Goodman, and Darryl McDaniels of Run DMC.
The music starts at 7:05 p.m. with the Wayne School of Rock performing a 15-minute set of '80s tunes.
SiriusXM’s 1st Wave host Lori Majewski joins WP student tribute band Sweet Dreams in a fundraising concert for WP music scholarships. Showcasing the work of the best female artists of the early MTV years, from Madonna to the Pointer Sisters to Tina Turner.
Grammy Award-winner (with Lady Gaga) and WP alumnus Rob Fusari '08 directs this celebration of the best in ‘80s music.
Dress like the '80s and you may get an upgraded seat!
And don't forget to bring your checkbooks! There will be a 120-second auction, with the chance to win autographed books and comics by original MTV VJs like Mark Goodman, DMC, and Lori Majewski.
Auction will also include an opportunity to sit in on Mark and Lori's SiriusXM radio show in their NYC studios!
