News from William Paterson University

As the first semester comes to a close at William Paterson University, there are so many new and exciting developments I would like to share with you. First, our new president, Dr. Richard Helldobler, has hit the ground running and has held over 50 listening sessions with faculty, staff, board members, corporate leaders, and friends to truly understand the challenges and opportunities for our great university. We are looking forward to his new and innovative vision and leadership.

Student News
On November 14 - 16, 2018, William Paterson University's Cotsakos College of Business held the 12th Annual National Sales Challenge, hosting over 100 professional sales students from across the country for an intense series of selling competitions and workshops on campus. William Paterson University student team Michaela Campo of Nutley, New Jersey and Meagan Trozzo of Blauvelt, New York, both seniors in the WP Cotsakos College of Business, won 1st place overall in the competition. This is the second time a William Paterson team has won the overall competition.

The William Paterson Cotsakos College of Business is once again included in Princeton Review's annual guide to graduate business schools, saluting top MBA programs. The 2019 edition, The Best 252 Business Schools, marks the 11th straight year the College has been featured in the Princeton Review book.

University News
On September 28, 2018, William Paterson held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly remodeled Hunziker Hall - the first academic building on campus, originally constructed in 1951. The building, which reopened for classes in September, now houses state-of-the-art smart classrooms, group study rooms, a keyboard lab for the Department of Music, a creative commons space, offices, and the University's Black Box Theatre.
