Dear Participant:

My name is Kimberly Dimino and I am a doctoral nursing student at William Paterson University. For my final DNP project, I am examining the experiences of new graduate registered nurses in their first professional position. Because you are a new graduate registered nurse and a graduate of our BSN program, I am inviting you to participate in this research study by completing an online survey. If you have been a graduate for a while, please think back to that first job and answer to the best of your recollection.

The questionnaire will require approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. I am sorry there is no compensation for responding  -- other than the satisfaction of knowing you are helping further our knowledge in this area. In order to ensure that all information will remain anonymous, please do not include your name.

Participation in this study is strictly voluntary. You may choose not to answer any question you do not wish to answer and you may end/exit the survey at any time. Thank you for taking the time to assist me in my educational endeavors. The data collected will provide useful information regarding the experience of the new graduate nurse’s transition into practice.
