Pioneer Parking Garage Sign-ups for
Semester and Academic Year Are Available

Do you like cleaning snow off the top of your car and scraping ice off of frozen windshields?

If long-range weather forecasts are correct, that might be your fate this winter – unless, that is, if you use the Pioneer Parking Garage.

The garage, located behind the Science Complex and accessible by the road between Lot 2 and the tennis courts, is available for students, both residential and commuter, as well as faculty and staff.

Garage registrations for the semester, or the whole 2017-2018 academic year, are still available.

The fee to use the garage, which helps defray the cost of building and operating it, has not changed since the garage opened in 2014. Parking plans are available for the full academic year, by semester, or on an hourly or daily basis. Parking garage rates are as follows:

• Commuter Student: Annual $230 • Semester $115 • Summer $50
• Resident Student: Annual $450 • Semester $225 • Summer $50
• Employee: Annual $450 • Semester $225
• Daily/Hourly: 0-6 hours $5 • 6-12 hours $9 • 12-24 hours $15

Last academic year, more than 800 students, faculty and staff signed up for either the semester or annual parking garage permit. Even with this high participation rate, numerous spaces are still available throughout the day because not everyone uses the garage at the same time. 
    
Please note that you may continue to park free of charge in all of the other parking lots on campus.
