Before, during and after the big interview!
You sent in your resume, and finally got an interview! What do you do now? In this webinar, the interview process will be broken down into stages - before, during, and after the interview - and tips and tools will be given for each stage. You will learn how to prepare for an interview, including the do's and don'ts of dressing for success; how to make the best impression during your interview; and what you need to do after the interview to stay fresh in the employer's mind. You will also be introduced to the STAR method of answering interview questions, as well as the benefit of creating an elevator pitch.
Our presenter, Jenny Nesenjuk, works in career development and advisement where she assists individuals in gaining the skills and competencies necessary to be successful and accomplish their goals. She is presently an assistant director in the Career Development Center at WP. Prior to joining the WP family, Jenny was the acting director of career development at Hudson County Community College. She is an active member of the NJ Career Center Consortium, and holds a master of arts in counseling, student affairs in higher education.
