The Entrepreneur and the DNP Degree

The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) is a practice doctorate that educates nurses in eight essential areas. The DNP is the terminal degree in clinical nursing.

Presently WPUNJ offers a Post Masters DNP, which is a program for nurses who have completed an MSN. Our presenter today, Gustavo Gonzales DNP '14, MSN '05, is a graduate of WP's DNP program, is a nurse practitioner working in a community clinic, and was a member of the nursing faculty at WP. Gustavo will tell you what the DNP can do for your career, what the coursework is like, and how to make the most of your nursing education.
