Two decades ago, the Million Man March brought people from across the nation to Washington in a historic gathering to address American race relations. With hundreds of thousands in attendance, it was the largest civil rights demonstration in history where black men pledged to take responsibility for themselves, their families, and their communities.

On that day, a group of WP students traveled to Washington DC to participate on that historic occasion.

We invite you to attend a special reception and panel discussion that will take place as part of this February’s African Heritage Celebration to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March.
