Join us for a celebration on the Pioneer Midway! There will be game booths, prizes, a henna artist, a rock wall, food - cheesesteaks, funnel cakes and more! - mini golf, "Touch a Truck," sponsored by the Haledon Fire Department, discount coupons for the WP bookstore, and fun for kids of all ages! Rez Abbasi is a vivid synthesis of American jazz and classical and the influence of Indian master percussionist Ustad Alla Rakha (former accompanist of Ravi Shankar). Abbasi continues to push musical boundaries and sits at the forefront of jazz guitar. He appears as part of the Shastra Festival, which connects Indian and Western musical influences in a fascinating blend of styles.
