Join us at the Barnes Foundation to view The Barnes Collection, assembled by Dr. Albert C. Barnes between 1912 and 1951. The Barnes Collection is renowned as one of the finest holdings of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, and early Modern paintings in the world, with 181 works by Renoir, 69 works by Cézanne, 7 paintings by Vincent Van Gogh, and much more!

WP alumna Diane E. Israel ‘74, artist & educator, will offer an informal talk as we travel by bus to the museum.

After a self-guided tour at The Barnes Foundation, we will travel a short distance to The Reading Terminal Market, where you'll find locally grown and exotic produce. Amish specialties, from apple butter to whoopie pies. Fresh meats, seafood, and poultry. Handmade confections and baked goods straight from the oven. Everything you need to create a memorable meal, from cookbooks, to table linens, to kitchen ware, to fresh cut flowers, and more. Plus the widest variety of restaurants under one roof where you can purchase a delicious lunch!
