An exciting lecture and stargazing event. Prof. Jason Kendall will talk about “Searching for Life Out There in the Universe.” The event will include a performance by the WP choir. After the public talk there will be stargazing with the WP Astronomy Club out on the Wightman Football Field.

Dare to Pair: A “Mash Up” Event

A mash-up event is when two speakers come together to give a talk or demonstration on seemingly unrelated topics. Join us as WP alumna and powerlifter Renee Garcia ‘11 and WP alumnus and comedian extraordinaire Derek DeAngelis ‘04 (DEREK D!) present WP’s very first mash-up event!

Paterson and Its People
Produced by Professor Vincent N. Parrillo, Department of Sociology

This 55-minute film, funded in part by the WP Alumni Association, explores the city’s changing demographics from its pre-European history as the home of the Lenape to its present-day diversity. The film will be followed by a Q&A session with producer Vincent N. Parrillo.
