60 Credits and a 3.0 GPA
The Student Success Scholarship is part of William Paterson University’s commitment to support student success while striving to meet the goal of the Finish in Four initiative, which is designed to encourage full-time, first-time, first-year students to complete a bachelor’s degree within four years. As a result of this initiative, you may be eligible to receive a $1,000 Student Success Scholarship for your junior year.
Eligibility
Eligibility is based on earning a minimum of sixty (60) credits before September 2015 (including winter and summer sessions). Achievement of a 3.00 cumulative grade point average is required.
The scholarship is renewable for senior year if an additional thirty (30) credits are completed with a 3.0 cumulative GPA prior to September 2016.
No Need To Apply
There is no need to apply; the Student Success Scholarship will be automatically awarded if the above criteria are met. Official notification will be sent each time the scholarship is awarded in addition to the posting of the scholarship to the student’s account.
When possible, plan to stay on the established four-year plan for your major to attain your degree. By following the four-year plan, students benefit from lower overall costs to attain the degree as well as earlier entry into careers, advanced higher education studies, etc. Questions related to the four-year plans should be directed to your academic advisor.
