Make your first video game, be a radio DJ, or pick up tips on how to be successful in the business world. These are just a few examples of what students in grades 4 to 12 can learn during William Paterson University’s Virtual Summer Youth Programs from June 22 to August 14, 2020.
Among the many offerings are Introduction to Game Design, eSports Apprentice, Power Yoga, Inventor’s League—Prototyping for the Future!, YouTube Content Creators, Graphic Design, Creative Writing and more.
High School students may take courses like “Plan for Your Future: Thinking about Life after High School” or brush up on their skills with Algebra Review Clinic, Public Speaking or Web Design.
Taught by William Paterson faculty, adjunct professors and long-time instructors of the University’s Summer Youth Programs, these courses are designed to support families and keep students engaged, learning, and connected throughout the summer.
The instructors will use Zoom, Blackboard and Google Classroom as the online platforms to deliver their instruction. Each of these virtual courses is designed to stimulate students’ imagination and reinforce essential academic skills in the comfort of their homes.
