    Shortly after commencement, you will receive by mail an alumni identification card which gives you access to campus facilities and a wide range of William Paterson activities and events.     Alumni can access the full resources of the Career Development Center for up to one year after graduation, and after one year are eligible for the following services: career workshops and job fairs, resume matching, and programs such as computerized guidance and test-preparation. You may use the career library that includes job listings, directories, company literature, books, videotapes, and free handouts. Alumni have special access to the Career Development Center home page for a wide variety of information on job listings (direct link to Jobtrak or input "," select "William Paterson University" and input password "jobs"), resume writing, cover letters, interviewing, upcoming career fairs, and more.

    Reasonable rates are available for working parents with children or grandchildren, two-and-a-half to six-years-old.  Children must be toilet trained.  Call 973.720.2529.

  • Credit Union Membership »

    As a University alumnus, you and your family are eligible for membership in the North Jersey Federal Credit Union. Regardless of changes in employment, location or retirement, you remain a member until your account is closed. Benefits include free checking, payroll deduction or direct deposit and much more.     William Paterson's library provides a full range of services seven days a week and is open on weekdays until 11:45 p.m. Your alumni ID card will serve as your library card. The library houses more than 350,000 volumes, 1,700 periodical subscriptions, a growing collection of Web-accessible journals and books, and more than 80 electronic databases, many of which feature full-text articles and other documents. An extensive collection of films, videos, audiotapes, and CDs complement the print and electronic resources.     The Student Center and University Commons is the heart of the campus geographically and socially. The main location for daily and special events, it offers a full range of services including an arcade, a lounge, a food court, a restaurant, an art gallery, Starbuck's coffee house, the University Store and Cyber Place, which is available for your computer needs.   • Speech & Hearing Clinic »

    Open to you and your family, the Speech and Hearing Clinic offers comprehensive treatment for communication disorders in children and adults such as articulation difficulties, language delay disorders resulting from neurological impairments, voice problems, fluency, and foreign and regional accents. Audiological services include hearing testing, auditory training, aural rehabilitation, hearing aid evaluations and central auditory processing. The Speech and Hearing Clinic is also open to the general public and is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. For hours and fees, call 973.720.2207.

    We urge you to visit often and when you do, parking is available in the visitor's lot. An alumni parking decal permits you to park throughout the campus in white-lined spaces.     William Paterson alumni play an important role in the life of the University. There are many ways to get involved that include joining our Young Alumni Chapter, serving as a member of our Alumni Council, and sharing a day in your profession with a student through our Career Shadowing program.   • Rec Center/Ticketmaster »

    You and your family are encouraged to use the Rec Center. Consider purchasing an annual membership, or pay a daily fee. The facilities include the fitness room equipped with: lifecycles, lifesteps, stairmasters, rowing machines, treadmills, Nordic track, Nautilus skate machine, crossrobic machine, and free weights. There is also a weight room, equipped with a full line of Nautilus equipment, and basketball, volleyball and racquetball courts. Perhaps your interest is aerobics, self-defense, SCUBA, CPR, first aid, or lifeguard training. All are available. The Center also houses Ticketmaster, where you can purchase tickets for concerts, sporting events, productions and select Broadway shows.
