William Paterson University students who wish to attend another college or university as visiting students must be in good academic standing (a 2.0 cumulative grade point average or higher) and must secure an approved visiting student application form from their academic major chairperson. An approval is obtained by a student retrieving the Visiting Student Form from their academic department and forwarding that form to the academic chairperson of the intended course(s) for authorization. If granted, the student would then return their completed form back to their academic department where the form will be processed. Various restrictions do apply to this policy; thus it is very important that students seeking to utilize it speak with their academic advisor or chairperson first.
