Requesting and Receiving Accommodations

Please register with our office, The Accessibility Resource Center, (ARC) by using the following link to complete the Student Application https://denali.accessiblelearning.com/s-WPUNJ/ApplicationStudent.aspx.

Please note, you may also upload any recent documentation by using the link listed above. Please also be aware, some files may be too large to upload. If this occurs, please upload the files that you are able to upload and e-mail any larger files to arc@wpunj.edu.

Relevant documentation may include but not limited to the following:

  • IEP
  • 504 Plan
  • Educational Evaluation
  • Psychological Evaluation
  • ADD-ADHD Documentation Form
  • Medical Documentation Form
  • Psychological Documentation Form
  • Neuro-Psychological Evaluation
  • Psycho-Educational Evaluation
  • Audiology Report
  • Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired Letter
  • Most recent Accommodation Letter from previous or current institution

Once the Student Application and documentation are submitted, an Accessibility Resource Center staff member will review all materials to determine appropriate and reasonable accommodations and services.

  • If ARC has additional questions, we may request to meet with the student to further clarify their request. This meeting may be held over the phone or in person.
  • If documentation qualifies the student for accommodations, ARC prepares an Accommodation Letter listing eligible accommodations.
  • ARC emails the Accommodation Letter to the student at their WP email address at the beginning of the semester or as soon as their eligibility has been determined if requesting accommodations after the semester has already begun.
  • It is the responsibility of the student to provide a copy of their Accommodation Letter to all professors and to discuss implementation of the accommodations.
