Campus life will feature primarily in-person programs and events and in-person interactions with peers, faculty, and staff. These programs and experiences will be supplemented with virtual meetings and events when practical and where they provide students with flexibility. The University will continue to monitor health and safety guidelines from national, state, and local officials, and will make adjustments accordingly. Following are details about key areas and activities: COVID-19 Protocols All members of the campus community are asked to follow University procedures and protocols that have been developed to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19. Policies and procedures may change based on current conditions. The University community will be notified of any significant changes via email and updates to the website. The health and safety of the University community during this pandemic is a shared responsibility among faculty, staff and students. All students, as well as all faculty and staff, will be required to notify the University of a positive test for COVID-19. Individuals should upload their positive result in the COVID testing portal. For more information, see the COVID Health and Safety page. Residence Life Residence hall living for the 2023-24 academic year is traditional occupancy. Students interested in living on campus must submit a housing application and deposit via WP Connect. Resident students will be assigned to mostly double occupancy spaces with a roommate. Students in need of any housing-related accommodations need to submit an accommodation request through the Accessibility Resource Center. Common areas within the residence halls will be open and available for student use. Any guidelines and expectations for the different common areas will be posted as needed. Residence Life staff will continue to offer in-person programming for resident students. Full details will be communicated to residential students once they arrive on campus in August. Students who test positive for COVID-19 will be required to follow University isolation procedures. Dining Dining services operations have returned to normal operations. Hand sanitation stations will be provided in all areas where hands-free operations are not possible. Tables and counters where patrons are in contact will be routinely sanitized. All campus retail locations will be open. The following retail locations will be open: Einstein Bros Bagels in University Hall, various stations in the Paterson Food Court in the Machuga Student Center, and the W Store in Century Hall.
