The David and Lorraine Cheng Library participates in several reciprocal borrowing programs. Members of the WPUNJ community are responsible for complying with the lending library's circulation policies, including loan periods, overdue fines, recalls, all replacement and processing fees, and for returning all borrowed items directly to the lending library. Please be advised that not all libraries are accessible by the public, you may wish to check the Library's homepage and/or check with the Reference Desk before attempting to visit another area library.
WPUNJ faculty, staff, students may borrow from the following Passaic county public libraries: Bloomingdale, Clifton, Haledon, Hawthorne, Little Falls, North Haledon, Passaic, Passaic County College, Paterson, Pompton Lakes, Ringwood, Totowa, Wanaque, Wayne, West Milford, or West Paterson. Bring your barcoded WPUNJ ID card and a second form of identification to register at the public library.
New Jersey Academic Library Network WPUNJ faculty, staff and students may borrow from the following New Jersey academic libraries: New Jersey City University, Kean University, Montclair State University, NJIT, Ramapo College, Rowan University, Stockton State College, and The College of New Jersey. Your valid, barcoded WPUNJ ID is required as well as a signed NJALN form from the Cheng Library's Lending Services Desk.
WPUNJ faculty may borrow from the following academic libraries participating in the VALE program: http://www.valenj.org/vale/recbor/faclib.html See the Lending Services Desk to obtain a signed VALE reciprocal borrowing application form, which is required for each library you wish to visit. Borrowing privileges and/or a guest borrowing card are for one academic year and expire June 30th. A signed application form and a valid, barcoded WPUNJ ID are required to register at VALE libraries.

The Cheng Library purchases a Princeton Access Card, which allows access to any
of the Princeton University Libraries. The card does not permit borrowing. The
Princeton Access Card may be obtained at the Reference Desk and will be lent to
WPUNJ faculty for a one-week period.
A researcher may make individual arrangements to use the Princeton Libraries. An individual may purchase an Access Card on a weekly ($27), monthly ($54), or annual ($230) basis. For $580 per year, an individual may obtain borrowing privileges from Princeton. Arrangements to use Princeton Libraries may be made through the Access Office: 609-258-5737.

Faculty who live
outside the New York metropolitan area are granted
reading privileges for up to 5 consecutive days
in any one semester without charge upon presentation
of a valid, barcoded WPUNJ ID card.An individual
may also purchase a monthly pass to read ($55)
or to borrow ($100). Arrangements must be made
through the Library Information Office, Butler

Faculty may obtain one-day courtesy reading privileges
upon presentation of a valid, barcoded WPUNJ ID card.
Individuals may purchase for $225 an access card for
a year. For an additional $600 per year, an individual
may obtain borrowing privileges. Arrangements must
be made through the Access Card Office: 212-998-2246.
