Information Literacy/Competence Initiative The Center For Teaching Excellence provides an overview of collaborative efforts to adopt and promote four basic competencies that promote lifelong learning.
New Book List - review recent acquisitions of books and audiovisual media.	Selection Aids - find new books, periodicals, audio-visual media, and electronic/web resources for instruction.
Interlibrary Loan - obtain books and articles not held in our collection.	Reserves - instructions for placing material on Reserve.
User Education - schedule a library orientation or database training session for your class.	Lending Policy - loans, renewals, proxy arrangements, fines, & charges.
Request materials - you may request books, media, and periodicals using online forms.	Remote Access - connect to library databases from home or off-campus.
Contact Librarians or Staff - library directory.	Liaison Program - find the Librarian assigned to your College or Department for the purpose of collection development.
Use of Other Libraries - information about use of other libraries and reciprocal borrowing arrangements.	Valley Road Book/Media Request - faculty may request Cheng Library books and media for delivery to Valley Road.
