The LGBTQA Programs and Services at the Women's Center, works to facilitate the social, psychological, and academic growth of LGBTQA students at William Paterson University. It does this by providing support to LGBTQA students at William Paterson, raising awareness of LGBTQA issues through programming, and coordinating with other offices and departments to ensure the needs of LGBTQA students are met.
The LGBTQA Programs and Services at the Women's Center, envisions a campus that is inclusive and supportive of all students, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity; where LGBTQA students may engage with their community, both on campus and in the surrounding area; and where all individuals feel safe to express themselves and are empowered to pursue their intellectual, professional, and personal goals.
