William Paterson University provides a challenging, supportive, intellectual environment for more than 11,500 students who are enrolled in five academic colleges: College of the Arts and Communication, Cotsakos College of Business, College of Education, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and College of Science and Health.
The Student Handbook defines the expectations for behavior and conduct in the William Paterson University community and outlines the procedures to be followed when these expectations are not met. It includes the Student Code of Conduct, the Academic Integrity Policy, as well as other rules, regulations, and policies governing student life.
University Core Curriculum:
The Core is William Paterson University’s new general education program that gives students the flexibility to customize their undergraduate academic experience by selecting from a broad range of courses in six areas of study. The Core is designed to let students explore a variety of fields and disciplines, connect these courses with their major, and become a well-educated citizen, both locally and globally.
