The Department of Telecommunications does not support physical stand alone fax machines (installations or repairs of the machine).  We provide only the dial tone to the machine.  If a department has a Xerox machine we strongly encourage fax capabilities to be transferred to the Xerox machine.  A Telecom work order should be processed to relocate the fax capabilities.
