Foundation and Alumni Association Scholarships


William Paterson University Foundation and Alumni Association Scholarships have all been established through the generosity of charitable-minded alumni and friends, private donors, businesses, foundations and corporations.   In particular, the Foundation and Alumni Association offers more than 150 scholarships and awards over $420,000 annually.  Scholarship awards range from $150 - $5,000 and are based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, service to the University or community and financial status.  The online application for Foundation and Alumni Association Scholarships is made available each spring semester.  One application, an essay and a letter of recommendation from a faculty and/or staff member enables the student to compete for all the available Foundation and Alumni Association Scholarships awarded each academic year.  We encourage all currently enrolled students who may qualify for scholarships and/or financial aid to apply!

*Note: A completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required for those scholarships that require demonstration of financial need. The FAFSA may be completed online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. To allow for processing time, students are encouraged to file a FAFSA by April 1st.
