Office Hours

The Matelson Hall office is located in White Hall on the 1st floor of White Hall, room 110. The office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm and 8:00pm – 10:00 pm. It is also open on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00pm – 10:00pm. We are available to assist you with any questions you have regarding Matelson Hall or maintenance concerns, retrieving packages, and much more! To contact us via phone please call 973-720-3530.

Room Reservations

The Matelson Hall 1st floor lounge is available for students to reserve for programs and open events. This lounge is not available for closed meetings. If you would like to reserve the 1st floor lounge please visit the White Hall Office or call 973-720-3530 for more information. 

Overnight Guest Registration

For anyone who is interested in having an overnight guest, a registration form needs to be completed.  You can pick one up at the White Hall office, or simply download it here.

Overview of Matelson Hall

Starting this fall 2016, Matelson Hall will accommodate new freshmen students. The four story building is co-ed, and all rooms are arranged suite style. Each room is occupied by two students, connected by a bathroom to another room where two students of the same gender reside. The building has wireless Internet, is air-conditioned, and has free laundry facilities and vending machines. There is no elevator.

All residence halls are smoke free. No smoking is permitted in suites, hallways, and common areas, and there are smoke detectors and fire prevention sprinklers in every room.
