The High Mountain West office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM and 8:00 - 10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 - 10:00 PM. We are available to assist you with any questions you have regarding facilities or maintenance concerns, retriving packages, and much more! To contact us via phone or after hours, call 973-720-5460.
The High Mountain East Classrooms are spaces that can be reserved for a meeting or event for your club or organization. If you are interested in reserving a classroom, visit the High Mountain West office or call x5460 for more information.
Overnight Guest Applications
For anyone who is interested in having an overnight guest, an application form needs to be completed. You can pick one up at the High Mountain West office, or simply download it here.
High Mountain West Application
High Mountain West is the upper class facility for students who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Remaining in good academic and disiplinary standing with William Paterson University and the Department of Residence Life is required. Residents' cumulative GPA scores will be evaluated prior to the beginning of each semester for compliance. Students currently on diciplinary probation cannot apply to live in this community until the probation period has ended. The HMW application AND the housing contract/$150 deposit are needed to be considered for assignment. Current residents can use this application for room change requests to HMW. Starting fall 2014, the GPA requirement for High Mountain West will be a minimum overall 3.0 GPA. For spring Room Selection 2014, all applicants will need to attain the new level of academic excellence to apply to live in this community.
High Mountain East Application
High Mountain East is a community for freshmen students who have demonstrated academic success in high school. Students accepted to the WP Honors College program have first prioroity to be assigned to this facility. Other students may apply, by presenting a record of high school GPA of 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and a score of 1100 in the combined Math and Verbal SAT scores. Residents are expected to remain in good academic and disiplinary standing with William Paterson University and the Department of Residence Life throughout the year. The HME application AND the housing contract/$150 deposit are needed to be considered for assignment. Current residents can use this application for room change requests to HME. Students currently on diciplinary probation cannot apply to live in this community.The HME application is below:
